LIFE IS NOT A RACE TO BE WON, BUT A JOURNEY TO BE ENJOYED.
Ecclesiastes 8:15 (NKJV)
“So I commended enjoyment, because a man has nothing better under the sun than to eat, drink, and be merry; for this will remain with him in his labor all the days of his life which God gives him under the sun."
Ecclesiastes 8:15 (NKJV)
“So I commended enjoyment, because a man has nothing better under the sun than to eat, drink, and be merry; for this will remain with him in his labor all the days of his life which God gives him under the sun."

We live in a day and age when instant gratification is no longer quick enough to meet our needs. Society is in a constant rush causing life to become a blur; moving faster than what we are able to keep up with. God has not called us to be influenced by the culture we live in, but to influence the culture we live in.
God wants us to enjoy our lives and everything He has created. In order to do so, we must be willing to stop and take a little time to thank the Lord for all He has done. Remember, God paints a new picture in the sky every day just for us—relax and just reflect on how good God is.
If we allow society to rush us and cause us to go through life as though we are in a race, we will never truly experience intimacy with God. So many times we become too busy and neglect the very things God desires. God wants our attention, and He wants our time. Let us take some time and reflect on how good God has been and thank Him for who He is!

Ecclesiastes 8:15
"God has given me all good things in this life for my enjoyment. I will not rush or hurry through life nor will I go through life without taking time to tell God how grateful I am for the wonderful things He has done for me."
