Woaho! It's officially one week to the Lunar New Year!!

I just came back from Chinatown and boy it was super crowded. Anyways, i wonder if it's just me, but as i grow older, Chinese new year doesn't seem like such a big affair anymore. I remember when i was younger, CNY was like the biggest event of the year. New clothes. new sheets, bah kua, love-letters. And i would always look forward to playing with my cousins and eating steamboats after steaboats. But these days, the festive mood no longer hit me hard in the face. CNY has become another one of those days where you go house visting, plonk yourself in front of the tv in nice clothes and munch away on goodies. You stand up occasionally to fetch a drink or to receive an ang bao, but that's about it.

Oh wells.

Anyway, this year i hope i'll be able to do some serious catching up with my cousins and relatives since i missed new year last yr! And also, i want to limit the number of new yr goodies i eat! They are like how unhealthy lar?!

Ok..so enjoy your new year guys! For those of you going back to malaysia, have a great time with your family and enjoy the festivity while it lasts!

King David is really something ya! Besides knowing how to cook delicious spaghetti.. he even makes pineapple tarts! As his followers, we must also be discipled in 'HOW TO MAKE PINEAPPLE TARTS' too.=p Chinese New Year is coming! Besides Spring Cleaning, making pineapple tarts is another way we can show our love & appreciation for our family. =)
