Cell Group Announcement
Kids@Play JW (Level 3 Car Park) – Svc 1 & 4 zones to provide
Opening hours:
- Saturday: 2.30pm-3.15pm, 5.30pm-6.30pm
- Sunday: 9-9.45am, 11.30am-12.30pm, 2.30pm-3.30pm
- We need about 5 volunteers per slot.
- Volunteers are needed to help to oversee the safety of children while playing and help to clean up the play area upon closing.
- Please inform volunteers to wear or bring along a pair of socks while helping out.
Recruitment for the Millennial Orchestra
- Calling all budding musicians or ex-bandsmen/ex-players
- TMO is having a new recruitment drive for 2010. We are looking for string players, wind players, brass players and percussion players.
- TMO will be performing for the upcoming AC2010. At the same time, players will be exposed to public performances such as concerts, events and musical gigs.

Ooosh April Intake
- Ooosh Academy is offering hairdressing courses for youths between the ages of 16 – 21. On top of their professional hairdressing curriculum, the Academy partners with CHCSA to offer career guidance, counseling and mentorship to students. The program also includes placement of students (upon satisfactory course completion) in professional hairdressing salons for employment.
- For students from low-income families, bursaries are also available for application.
- Currently, courses run for 3 – 6 months and are offered on a full-time and part-time basis.
- Registration for the April intake is now open till April 7, 2010.
- Interested parties can contact the Social Administrator, Miss Shalynne Pek at shalynnepek@chcsa.org.sg for more details.
