CONFRONTING

Quote - 'Alexander the Great said the secret of his accomplishing so much was never putting off anything until tomorrow.'

Hi, I'm Phil Pringle

You're going to love this;
-------------------------

Get to them before they get to you!
Leaders must learn to confront situations before they have to.
Many don't confront until it's desperate.
They wait till they have no choice.
When we're angry enough we'll confront anything.
However, anger clouds our minds and destroys relationships.
Deal with it today with a calm spirit, not tomorrow with frustration.

GIVING SIGNIFICANCE

Quote - 'Gratitude is the mother of all virtues.'

Hi, I'm Phil Pringle

You're going to love this;
-------------------------

If you've experienced something great,
there will have been someone who had a hand in making that happen.
Send them a note.
Say "thank you!"
Phone them up. Tell them how good it was for you!
All of us live for significance.
Does my life count?
We can let people know - it does!

FAITH

Quote - 'He felt all the pastors of large churches had the spiritual gift of faith' - Elmer TownsHi,

I'm Phil Pringle

You're going to love this;
-------------------------

Good leaders hold a positive view of the future.
We believe God fulfils our dreams.
Our desires exceed what we have and where we are.
We ask God to hear our prayer.
We build our faith through reading, meditating, studying and
speaking the incredible promises of God.
Vision is the gift of faith in action.
Leadership is clear vision.
A leader is bold and sees the future.

REST

Quote - 'If the axe is dull, and one does not sharpen the edge, then he must use more strength' - Ecclesiastes 10:10

Hi, I'm Phil Pringle

You're going to love this;
---------------------------------------------

Lost your 'cutting edge'?
You have to stop chopping to sharpen the axe - can't sharpen it while you're still chopping.
It will not grow sharper if you keep on using it.
It will only grow duller.
We stop cutting, we rest.
We recover our 'cutting edge.'
With less effort and more wisdom we find ourselves succeeding.
An Indian proverb says 'the bow that is always strung becomes slack.'
The best time to relax is before you have to.
If we make no time to rest, our mortal frame will force us to do so, somehow.

Stepping out with you,
