Lord, the cross is too heavy...
Whatever your cross...
Whatever your pain...
There will always be sunshine

Blessed by Ps Ulf Services
I don't know about you... I'm so blessed by Ps Ulf services.
On sat, he preached on the Holy Spirit - how in order to have lasting fruit in our life, we need to depend on the Holy Spirit not our own human wisdom/ talent.
I was reminded of a verse that i read a few weeks before..
1 Cor 1:26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.
As humans, we all don't like to depend on others... we want others to know how good we are... how talented we are... how smart we are. In the world, they called it a "self-made" man.
God has to bring us through the process... called SUFFERING (which is what he preached on sunday) to help us become dependent on Him.
Heb 5:8 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.
In the KOG, instead of "self-made" people, we need to be a "God-made" people... people who will depend on the Holy Spirit... Charismatics... people who moved in the gifts of the Holy Spirits... people who are not afraid of suffering... people who will maintain a sweet attitude when going through difficult times.
And there's Carola Haggkvist... her voice carries an anointing...i almost teared when she sang "I can see the harvest"... and that's over the internet. Ok.. i repent..i woke up at 11am.
I like the second last song she sang... the song before the encore... the song the record company refused to put it on her album. I was trying to look for the lyrics over the internet... but to no avail. If you can find it or remember the title, do leave me a note =)

God is good... to me
Ps 23:6 (NKJV) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
How many times have we compare ourselves to others and feel we don't match up? Sometimes, as a result we became "resentful" toward God and think... God, why did you bless so and so but not me?
I'm reading "Mars and Venus on a date".. my colleague lent it to me. Basically, it's a book on relating to people. There's always 2 ways you can see/ approach a situation.. you can either come with a resentful attitude and say "Why didn't you do this for me?!" This approach will put the person on the defensive.. or you can come with a positive attitude.
It's the same when we come before God. I passed my driving test recently. I was kind of having a complainy attitude before that. I mean people around me are passing on their first or second try while i failed 3 times.. faintz.. Anyway, my colleague opened my eyes (she passed the first time round). She told me.. if God can do it for me... God can do it for you... He's no respector of persons. It kind of changed my perspective.
So the next time you see God blessing someone around you. Instead of coming before God shouting "unfair"!!! Come before God telling Him... God, you have done this for so-and-so, you can do it for me too. It's basically saying the same thing... but with different attitude which makes a world of difference. The first is an attitude of blaming God whereas the second is an attitude of faith.
Heb 11:6 (Amplified) But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].
