Christian Family Values by Joakim Lundqvist
Especially for Her
Build your self-image!
You are beautifully made and precious, you are a great and fantastic person. Woman are under pressure from media and society to measure up. 10 things you are happy with or 10 things you are not happy with.Your ‘not happy with’ list will be easier to form.
Psa 139:24 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;Marvelous are Your works,And that my soul knows very well.
You should be proud before man, but you need to come to the place where you feel happy about yourself and who you are. There will always be things we can improve, things we can learn and bad habits we can leave behind, we start on a perfect level with Jesus. You are wonderfully made.
2 Tim 3:6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible (weak) women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,
Weak in relationship to themselves, they do not have the self-image of God, so they will fall for everything and everyone. The devil has been allowed to speak to you, you will fall into it. The sooner you get these thoughts the better.
Do not advertise what is not for sale!
This is about your appearance for example the way you dress and the way you behave. You can put into the way you look at people, you can communicate with more than one thousand words with your eyes or tone. You should not use the tone or appearance to get the attention. You could if you want to, you have that capacity to stir things up in men to tease them when it comes to feeling and sexual tension. It is always a nice feeling to be appreciated and admired, as Christians we don’t play in that arena, we are people of integrity, and we can get that from God.Don’t be flirty. Don’t send out that kind of signal. You will get a rumor you don’t want to have, and you will end up in relationships that are not supposed to be. Let God accept you and you don’t have to prove to all the man around, prove that you are a woman of integrity. You will push your spouse to higher place with God. You can look good without having getting attention.

Especially for Him
Be sold out for Jesus!
You have to underline second time for the men. When you come to the prayer meeting, missionary, etc, it seems the women are always on the front and the men are the spectators.
2 Sam 6:14-16 – 14 Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. 16 Now as the ark of the LORD came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.
David should have had the pressure of acting dignified, but he didn’t care, David was completely sold out for God. He didn’t care if he looked the fool or what people thought about him. Remember this as you grow. When you are a teenager, it is easier. Don’t become so dignified that you cannot praise God or be completely sold out for God.Devil wants the Christian make to be an emotional handicap, and make the Christian men a group of people who did not express anything. God called men to be sold out for Jesus. If anyone should praise God, every men should praise God. That does not mean ladies should back off, but give the men the chance to compete with.No matter what age, we will dance with all our might.
Be a gentleman!
This is starting to get lost in our society. There was something about how men relate to woman in the past. Christian man should be a gentleman to everyone. Bible calls the men the stronger sex and the women is the weaker. You have a responsibility as a man to set the atmosphere. You will set the atmosphere in your family and work place. You can create an atmosphere around you by being a gentlemen and being polite. You put others needs above yourself. You can give nice compliments and everyone around is feeling appreciate and you can do this without being flirty. The ladies can make it easy or hard for the men to be a gentleman. Sometimes as a woman, you can make sure that you can have the self-esteem to receive the compliment. It will make the other person discouraged. It is about general relationships we are having everyday.
Isa 32:2 – 2 A man will be as a hiding place from the wind, And a cover from the tempest, As rivers of water in a dry place, As the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
God’s mark of a man.We tend to shut ourselves into our own world. We can past needs without seeing them. Open your eyes, your prayer can change things. You can set a completely new atmosphere at the place you live.

The power of focus
Attended the teachers' mass lecture yesterday. It was at none other at my beloved church hall, Expo Hall 8.
The title of the lecture is "Catch the happiness bug... A personal choice"
One thing i "caught" from the lecture is the power of focus (very much like what Pastor Kong preached). You get what you focus on. Your vision is very important. You will always go in the direction of your vision.
So, what are you focusing on today?
Lk 11:34
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness.
Phil 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

The Pastor and his Son
**A good reminder of God's Love.**
Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the
Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts.
This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring down rain. The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, 'OK, Dad,I'm ready.'
His Pastor Dad asked, 'Ready for what?'
'Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together and go out.' Dad responds, 'Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring down rain.'
The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, 'But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?'
Dad answers, 'Son, I am not going out in this weather.' Despondently, the boy asks, 'Dad, can I go? Please?'
His father hesitated for a moment then said, 'Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son.'
'Thanks Dad!'
And with that, he was off and out into the rain. his eleven year old boy walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody he met in the street a Gospel Tract.
After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his VERY LAST TRACT. He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to, but the streets were totally deserted.
Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell. He rang the bell, but nobody answered. He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer.
Finally, this eleven year old trooper turned to leave, but something stopped him. Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something holding him there on the front porch! He rang again and this time the door slowly opened. Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady. She softly asked, 'What can I do for you, son?' With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said, 'Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that *JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU* and I came to give you my very last Gospel Tract which will tell you all about JESUS and His great LOVE.'
With that, he handed her his last tract and turned to leave. She called to him as he departed. 'Thank you, son! And God Bless You!'
Well, the following Sunday morning in church Pastor Dad was in the pulpit. As the service began, he asked, 'Does anybody have any testimony or want to say anything?'
Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet. As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her face, 'No one in this church knows me. I've never been here before. You see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband passed on some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world. Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more so in my heart that I came to the end of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live.
So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home. I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof, then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted I was about to leap off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me. I thought, 'I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.' I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly. I thought to myself again, 'Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me.' I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder.
When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life. His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you! The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead, TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, 'Ma'am, I just came to tell you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU.' Then he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand.
As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of this Gospel Tract. Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be needing them any more.
You see---I am now a Happy Child of the KING. Since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel Tract, I have come here to personally say THANK YOU to God's little angel who came just in the nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell.'
There was not a dry eye in the church. And as shouts of praise and honor to THE KING resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little angel was seated.
He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably. Probably no church has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has never seen a Papa that was more filled with love & honor for his son... Except for One.
Our Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold and dark world. He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as all of heaven shouted praises and honor to The King, the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and every name that is named.
Blessed are your eyes for reading this message.
