MY FAITH IS PURIFIED THE MOMENT THAT I REFUSE TO BUCKLE UNDER PRESSURE.
1 Peter 1:7 (NLT)
" These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold…"
Matthew 7:24 – 27 (NLT)
" Anyone who listens to my teaching and obeys me is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against the house, it won’t collapse, because it is built on rock. But anyone who hears my teaching and ignores it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will fall with a mighty crash.

In the above scripture, Jesus is speaking to His disciples about life’s challenges. Notice that Jesus did not say "if" the storms of life come, He said "when" the storms of life come. We are going to encounter some storms in life!
Storms, tests, and life’s pressures are going to come knocking and we must choose who is going to answer. Pressure proves who we truly are. As you squeeze a tube of toothpaste (in the same way life applies pressure to us) what comes out is what lies hidden within. Begin to prepare, begin to build your house on character, integrity, and righteousness; the storms of life are coming, the question is…will you be ready?

" When trials come my way, I will see them as an opportunity for joy. When my faith is tested, my endurance grows; and when my endurance is fully developed, I will be strong in character and ready for anything."
