THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF A FUTURE HARVEST UNTIL THERE IS FIRST A COMMITMENT TO SOW.
Ecclesiastes 11:1 (NKJV)

“Cast your bread upon the waters, For you will find it after many days.”
Galatians 6:9 (NLT)
“So don’t get tired of doing what is good. Don’t get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time.”

Over the past twenty-nine years of being a Christian, the greatest neglect I have seen in the Body of Christ is consistency. So few are willing to consistently do something until they attain the promised harvest. I find it quite intriguing that God has promised all of us the same blessings yet, some possess them and others do not. I don’t ever want to come to a point in my life and find out I could have had something if I would have simply stuck with it.
In America, it is easy to move from one way of doing things to another. We have a very difficult time being patient because we begin to believe that our harvest has been delivered to another’s address. We undertake and institute the world’s philosophy instead of God’s and we begin to look to the world to show us how to get what we want. The world may get what they are looking for more quickly, but in the end it will not be pretty.
The Bible says, “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow with it.” God’s way of doing things may seem to take a little longer than we would like, but I can make this guarantee: If we continue to consistently do what He has commanded us to do, we will see our desired harvest!

CONFESSION
Galatians 6:9
“I will not give up and grow weary in doing good. I am unfailing in my life and I undertake tasks according to God’s standards and not the world’s. I am a consistent sower and I will reap a harvest at the appropriate time.”
His servant,
Dr. Robb Thompson
